The Acquisition Sketch Project is an initiative that aims at increasing knowledge about the acquisition of understudied languages, while also adding to our toolset for conducting such research.

Together with Shanley Allan, Lucy Davidson, Birgit Hellwig, Barb Kelly, and Evan Kidd we have published an "Acquisition Sketch Manual". We have also created a series of videos discussing each chapter of the manual. And we are now continuing with a community of researchers to prepare more Acquisition Sketch descriptions of more languages, including the one I'm working on for Pitjantjatjara.
